June Camps

Dragon's Lair (Full!)

Adventurous young artists are invited to join us on a quest into the dragons lair.  Magical mysteries and fire breathing foes will be around each turn as we creatively navigate through a magical world.  Students will learn drawing, painting, and sculptural techniques to create a variety of mythical masterpieces.  This is one artistic expedition you will not want to miss!

Sewing: 101

In this intro to sewing camp we will explore various sewing techniques that allow us to make useful and wearable creations.  Whether you have never used a sewing machine, or are already sewing up a storm, you will love this fun week of camp!  Students will learn to cut out and follow a pattern and become familiar with using a sewing machine.  By the end of the week, students will go home with a number of projects to show off their newly acquired skills, and the know-how to continue developing their love of sewing!

*If you have previously taken fashion camp you are welcome to join us for Sewing: 101 to advance your sewing skills even further.

Drawing: Figures & Faces

Take your drawing expertise to the next level!  Students will learn tips and tricks to make their drawings more realistic and lifelike.  We will experiment with various mediums such as graphite, chalk, markers, and pastels as we enhance our blending and shading abilities.  If you love to draw and want to improve your skills you will not want to miss out on this camp.

Drawing: Animals & Botanicals (Full!)

In this week of art camp, students will develop drawing skills that they will be sure to use well beyond this summer. We will learn blending and shading techniques in addition to working on proportion and composition. Learn tips and tricks for drawing more realistically, while also pushing your creativity to give your work your unique style. We will experiment with various mediums such as graphite, chalk, markers, and pastels. Students will go home with several pieces of finished work based on animals, insects, plants, and other natural subject matter.

The Brick Clique (Full!)

Become a member of the Brick Clique this summer: where your passion for Legos and art collide!  Young artists will create Lego inspired masterpieces using a variety of drawing, painting, sculpting, and construction techniques.  Throw away the instruction manual because this camp will be taking Legos way outside the box!

Animal Kingdom (Full!)

Animal lovers will be thrilled to join us for this exciting week of art camp.  Giant, tiny, cute, or exotic, the worlds creatures continue to amaze and astound us.  It is impossible not to be inspired by the variety of wildlife in our world.  Young artists will take their love of art and animals to the next level as we learn about and create works of art based on some of the planet’s most interesting animals.  Students will create one of a kind drawings, paintings, and sculptures based on their discoveries.
